ADHD Assessments
Ever felt like your brain is juggling too many tabs at once?
Do any of these sound familiar?
These could be signs of ADHD, and you’re not alone in feeling this way. ADHD is more than just being “distracted”—it’s how your brain works. Understanding your symptoms is the first step to finding solutions that work for YOU.
At Platinum Medicine, it is our mission to provide individuals with all the necessary care and tools to get healthier. One way we do this is through in-depth and comprehensive ADHD assessments for anyone aged 12 years old and up. If you or perhaps a loved one is trying to find answers, we are here to support you and assist you through this process.
Overview of ADHD Tests
ADHD is a condition that is diagnosed after going through several steps. Unlike other bodily ailments, it cannot be cured through medical tests such as blood tests or X-rays. To obtain a diagnosis of ADHD, use of clinical interviews, behavioral observations, and questionnaires from the patient and those close to them are all required for diagnosis. After gathering all the information, it is reviewed alongside the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) to see if all the data meets the criteria for diagnosis.
Why Choose Platinum Medicine?
At Platinum Medicine, we operate with the patient at the center of all our practices. Our ADHD specialized services are provided by Rachel Faubert, a Nurse Practitioner with further certifications in assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of ADHD. Every assessment gives you or your child an individualized plan of action that is appropriate to the problem experienced.
You can decide if you want a face-to-face or online appointment. We pay attention to both the symptoms that need to be addressed and the possible effects on everyday functioning. Additional testings including blood work and diagnostic tools may be required to further confirm or ensure no other underlying diagnoses are present. This means that your goals, concerns, and your welfare come first throughout the process.
